How to make the /m/ sound

  1. 1Close both lips.
  2. 2Send the voice through the nose — a hum.
  3. 3Note: B after M is silent ("comb"), N after M is silent ("autumn").

⚠ The most common mistake

Pronouncing the silent B in "comb", "climb", "thumb".

Especially tricky for speakers of: (rarely a problem — spelling traps only).
